What is the deadline for registering or changing my registration for the 2022 election?

How can I request a mail-in ballot? When does it need to be requested by and when does it need to be submitted?
Request a mail-in ballot by July 12th. A ballot must be postmarked by 8pm on election day (July 19th). Click here for instructions on how to request a mail-in ballot.
When and where does early voting take place in Montgomery County?
Early voting is from July 7th to July 14th at 14 locations in Montgomery County including: the Marilyn J. Praisner Community Recreation Center, Sandy Spring Volunteer Fire Department and Damascus Community Recreation Center Social Hall. You can vote at any Montgomery County early voting site if you vote in the county; click here for locations and addresses. If you’d like to learn more about early voting, click here.
Where can I drop off a completed ballot?
There will be 54 ballot drop boxes where you can bring your filled-in ballot. Click here for all of the locations.
While this webpage is from 2020, I have been assured by the Montgomery County Elections Administrator that all of these locations (primarily early voting sites and most county high schools) will have drop boxes, plus a new location in Clarksburg.
